Focus
Note
The focus module is currently experimental and will be a
PRO
feature once it is ready.
The Focus module basically allows you to make a list of your short- and long-term goals and order them by priority. Just writing them down and putting them in the right order can have a huge impact on your focus.
On top of that, we have created focus modes to help you stay on track.
A note of caution: do not add too many goals to your list, leave it with the really big ones. If you have a goal count between 5 and 20 you should be good.
Focus modes
You have the option to choose between 3 different focus modes or none at all. They are all based on common productivity patterns and we might add more in the future. Activating a focus mode will add visual highlighting to the main goal list and determine how many goals are shown in focus sections in other parts of the app.
Hyperfocus
"Hyperfocus" is simple. Just focus on #1, no matter what. Once #1 is done, move on to the next one. Choose this mode if you have to get one thing done, which is of the utmost importance. It is not recommended to use "Hyperfocus" continuously.
Top 3
"Top 3" is the standard. Pick the three most important things and focus on them, leave the rest for later.
Pareto
The Pareto Principe or 80/20 rule states that 80% of the output comes from only 20% of the effort. The "Pareto" mode mimics this concept and highlights the top 20% of your goals.
